We are living in a time of digital transformation, which influences all aspects of society. Jobs will disappear, will change and new jobs will be defined. In person, I’m thankful that engineers and other techies develop innovative tools to make our lives more easy. I see an evolution from “have to work” to “choose to work or create”. This gives us, as human beings, the possibility to strengthen our talents and competences. We get the benefit of self-development and creation.

Technological evolution is good. It is great that techies invent innovative tools to make our (working) life more enjoyable. This way we can evolve from ‘must’ work to ‘want to’ work or create. What effects do these technological innovations have on the transformation of our society?

An advantage is that we, as human beings, can focus on and strengthen our talents and competences. We get time to be busy with self-development and creation. If those innovations are made with open mind intersection will take place. I see a society where, instead of working, humans make time for self development. Finally we can can focus on sustainability.

Still too often corporates don’t recognize the speed and need for innovation. Often they are convinced that they still have a lot of time. The society transforms. What consequences will this have on the daily lives? Internet of things ( IOT) is a system that allows devices to communicate directly with each other without human intervention. A key feature of the Internet of Things is that each device must be uniquely identifiable or addressable. 

Your devices talk to each other, not to plot against you like in a science fiction movie, but rather to help you out. Efficiency can be gained when devices communicate their status without human intervention

IOT will be everywhere in your life and will be a game changer. New experiences business models are born.
